"Be the change you want to see in the world", "No matter where you arrive, the important is the path, what happens on the way", "They didn't know it was impossible so they did it"... here are some sentences that come to my mind every morning when I wake up, since I was a teenager.
When studying business administration in ESSEC business school I specialized in social entrepreneurship cause I wanted to be part of this change I wanted to see in the world. After that I worked for 6 years in the University of Caen, on bringing in sustainable development and building programs to spread a new entrepreneurial culture within the University. Being an entrepreneur is first of all having a dream or a revolt, and instead of just complaining, taking it to action.
That's what I'm doing today, I'm involved in the transformation of the food system. Because I love food, food is something so intimate, and such a fundamental need. Food is a connection. With nature and with other people. A bridge between cultures. But the food system has a tremendous impact on our society and environment.
So I'm deploying in France the Open Food Network platform (www.openfoodnetwork.org), building a local community and supporting the deployment of food hubs. I'm also a global community gardener, supporting people who want to launch a community and deploy the project in their country/region and facilitating global discussions. And apart from that I also work as a freelancer to give trainings / conferences / workshops on collaborative economy and the transformation of the food system.
